      The Friends' Spring Book Sale is our largest fund-raising event, and a good time too!

     We offer for sale over 10,000 gently used book titles, tapes, CDs, and DVDs, in dozens of 

     categories.  We invite donations of books and materials from the community. Friends volunteer their time

     to sort, move, and organize materials before and during the sale. 

     As a bonus for joining the group, Friends members are invited to a sneak preview and the opportunity

     to purchase items the night before the sale.

       The 2011 book sale was very successful  raising $6300 to fund the purchase of computers and

     additional shelving for the library.  A "thank you" goes out to the many  patrons who donated books

     regularly for the sale.  Many hours were spent by our members and faithful volunteers sorting, arranging

     and tending the book sale. A special thanks to the Germantown High School Honor Society, Youth

     Futures, and Students at Risk for their assistance in transporting books and setting up the displays.  We

     thank all of you for its success.

     We are presently seeking books, DVDs, CD donations for our 2012 Spring Book Sale.

     However, we can no longer accept records, or audio cassette tapes. 

     Bring donations to the library.

     The 2008 Spring Book Sale earned $6388, available to the library for future needs.
     The 2009 Spring Book Sale earned more than $7300.

     The 2010 Spring Book Sale earned almost $7000.

     The 2011 Spring Book Sale earned more than $6300.
